OBRAVEN keeps this website deliberately simple: no contact forms, no advertising cookies, no marketing cookies, no analytics cookies, no browser analytics scripts, and only security cookies where needed to protect the site.

1 Controller
OBRAVEN Limited is the data controller for business contact, enquiry, booking, meeting, and correspondence information handled through this website, email, Microsoft Teams and Bookings, LinkedIn messages, calendar invitations, and normal business correspondence.
Registered office: 107 Viewmount, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow, A67 AT10, Ireland. Privacy queries: [email protected].
2 Information we use
We may use your name, role, company, contact details, meeting details, correspondence, project or enquiry information, and anything else you choose to send to us.
You choose what to send. If you do not give us enough information to reply, arrange a call, or assess a possible engagement, we may not be able to do that.
3 Why we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, arrange calls and meetings, assess possible work, check conflicts, prepare proposals, manage client or supplier relationships, keep business and accounting records, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
4 Legal basis
For enquiries, calls, meetings, relationship management, and proportionate business follow up, we normally rely on our legitimate interest in running OBRAVEN and responding to business contacts.
Where we discuss or agree work, we may rely on steps before a contract or contract performance. Accounting, tax, company, and legal records are kept because the law requires it or because we need them to protect OBRAVEN’s legal position.
5 Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data, subject to legal limits. Data portability applies only where the legal conditions are met.
We will respond without undue delay and normally within one month. If more time is legally allowed because a request is complex, we will tell you. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
6 Right to object
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If you object to direct business development or marketing contact, we will stop that contact. For other objections, we will consider the request and explain the outcome.
7 Retention
Enquiry and early stage correspondence is normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a relationship continues or there is another business or legal reason to keep it. Business, contract, accounting, and tax records are normally kept for at least six years where required under Irish law. Insurance, dispute, and engagement records may be kept for longer where needed for limitation, insurance, and risk management purposes.
8 Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information only where reasonably needed with service providers and advisers, including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams and Bookings, website, domain, and security providers, approved collaborators or subcontractors, accountants, insurers, and professional advisers.
9 International processing
Some providers, including Microsoft and Cloudflare, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where transfer rules apply, this is handled through the provider terms and transfer safeguards available for those services. For client engagements, any specific transfer arrangements will be handled in the engagement terms where needed.
10 Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use advertising cookies, marketing cookies, or analytics cookies, and it does not use browser analytics scripts. Because only necessary security cookies may be used, no cookie banner is shown.
Cloudflare may process technical, security, and delivery information to run and protect the site. It may also set a necessary security cookie, such as cf_clearance, where needed to check legitimate traffic, and avoid repeated security checks.
11 Meetings and bookings
Calls may be arranged by email, calendar invitation, Microsoft Teams, or Microsoft Bookings. Teams meeting links and booking pages are provided by Microsoft. Microsoft may use its own cookies and privacy controls when you use those services.
Only provide the information needed to arrange the call or meeting. Other external links from this website, including LinkedIn, may also be governed by the relevant third party’s own privacy and cookie controls.
12 Client engagements
When OBRAVEN handles client personal data or project material as part of an engagement, that processing is governed by the engagement contract and, where needed, a separate data processing agreement. This website notice does not override engagement terms.
13 Automated decisions
We do not use website, meeting, booking, or enquiry information to make decisions about you by solely automated means where the decision would have a legal or similarly significant effect. We do not profile visitors through this website.
14 Changes to this notice
Material changes will be reflected on this page and the “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
